Did you know that residents, businesses, non-profit organizations, and local government organizations leasing or buying a new electric vehicle in B.C. are eligible for up to $3,000 off the after-tax vehicle price? For many, that could allow a new electric vehicle to pay for itself!
The BC Ministry of Energy and Mines has established incentive amounts based on vehicle type and battery capacity:
• $3,000 for the purchase or lease of a new battery electric vehicle (BEV/EV).
• $1,500 for the purchase or lease of a new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
• $3,000 for the purchase or lease of a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle (FCEV).
B.C. drivers can also take advantage of three incentives to support the purchase of electric vehicles:
Federal iZEV incentive, up to $5,000.
New vehicles only. Point of sale, so you don’t need to apply.
Provincial CleanBC Go Electric Rebate, up to $3,000.

BC SCRAP-IT, up to $500.
